Hairloss due to hard water in Bangalore
One of the topic of discussions that has remained constant with fellow bangaloreans over the past many years has been on water and hair loss. Many of us, especially the ones who are new to the city complain of hair loss. The fact that more than 50% of all hair transplant patients in Bangalore are between the ages 20–30 reaffirms the fact.
Each hair strand has a life span of around seven years, and towards the end is replaced by a new one. But when the rate of hair fall overtakes the rate of replacement hair loss becomes obvious.
The reasons for hair loss can be many and hard water is only one of them.
Lack of sleep — Proper seven hours of sleep is essential for a healthy scalp.
Lack of exercise — Regular exercise stimulates the circulatory system, encouraging a healthy blood supply to all cells, nourishing and helping in hair regeneration and repair.
Hard Water — Due to higher concentration of salts, water doesn’t lather properly
Zinc — higher zinc levels in their blood, the cause of which is related to excessive use of galvanized vessels for cooking and intake of water with higher metal levels.
Incorrect hair care products — Use of harsh hair care products has also been one of the main reasons for hair loss.
Like most other lifestyle disorders, hair loss cases can be reduced treated with a little care and switching on to a healthier lifestyle.
